Barb Wilkie's EHN Website
Last updated 2008

EHN Board President Barb Wilkie was very ill from chemically-induced kidney disease for several years. She passed away May 31, 2011. EHN presents this site both as a tribute and as valuable information. Many links and references will be out of date but Barb's research holds up over time. We will be transferring the site page by page, with updated details, to EHN's main site. If you would like to reach an EHN staff person, please contact us directly.

With four logos, one of which is the CDC, another is ATSDR at the bottom.
I provide this copy for those who cannot get to the picture of the sign on its easel.

By the bye, CDC stands for Centers for Disease Control and PREVENTION;
ATSDR is known as the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registery.

(My own two-bits worth: Don't you just love it that CDC never uses the initial for the
most important word in its title? P for PREVENTION. Now, if we could just get CDC to
begin practicing PREVENTION of illnesses by fully informing the public of the possible
ills that can come their way from their unwitting reliance on petrochemically derived
flavors, fragrances, pesticides and pharmaceuticals, we may see a drop in illnesses and
disabilities. But, until a major government agency starts looking at the deleterious effects
of our constant breathing in and absorbing through our skin of flavors, fragrances,
pesticides, et al., we'll go on gathering burgeoning rates of many dread diseases, all the
while wringing our hands saying we must find a cure. Cure begins with PREVENTION!!!!
